Timeline for porcealin veneers treament

Typically the time table of dental veneers is about two weeks. The following is a timeline from start to finish of the procedure.

Determining Candidacy

In your first visit Dr. Fincher will access if you are a good candidate for dental veneers. If you don’t meet the criteria he will recommend the following options. Such as teeth whitening or dental bonding

Preparing the Teeth

Next a millimeter of enamel will be removed from the front of the tooth to prepare for the placement of the ultra-thin porcelain veneer. This is to confirm a proper fit.

Capturing Impressions

Now that the proposed teeth are prepped. Dr. Fincher can now capture impressions of the teeth. He then sends the custom veneer impressions to an off-site dental lab.

Temporary Dental Veneer

As the final veneers are created. temporary porcelain veneers are attached to the teeth. Details care instructions are provided by the staff.

Using Mac veneers because of their high quality ceramics. They created a natural- looking result in regards to color and fit.

Sent Back to the Practice

Upon completion, the dental veneers are sent back to one of our three locations, Greenwood,MS, Columbus, MS, or Oxford, MS. Dr. Fincher removes the temporary veneers and eliminates the adhesive that remains.

Before the clement is applied for final placement, The porcelain veneers are fitted to ensure they are aesthetic to the eye and comfortable for the patient. If done correctly, the patient can smile confidently.
