Dental Volunteer Missions
Volunteer Dental Trip
Dr. Todd Fincher has embarked on life-changing volunteer dental trips to the Dominican Republic and Guatemala, where over 700 patients have experienced the magic of his expertise. Dr. Fincher is not your ordinary dentist. Beyond his thriving practice, he is a dedicated humanitarian who believes in giving back through dentistry. His commitment to transforming lives, one smile at a time, has taken him on incredible journeys to the Dominican Republic and Guatemala.
The Impact of Compassionate Dentistry
In the heart of the Dominican Republic and the picturesque landscapes of Guatemala, Dr. Fincher and his team embarked on dental missions that left an indelible mark. Together, they treated over 700 patients, providing them with access to quality dental care they had never experienced before.
Dominican Republic
Dominican Republic trip March 2013 was organized by First Presbyterian church Greenwood, MS. The goal of the trip was to provide medical and dental care to rural villages outside La Romana, D.R. It involved our senior high and adults. We teamed with the senior class of Buffalo, NY School of Dentistry. I have worked with them several times on earlier mission trips. As a result of this trip, four youth team members entered the health care field as nurses and many villagers received the love of Jesus Christ thru the health care we provided.
Picture with Sheriff Clint Walker. Sheriff Walker was concerned about the prevalence of Sleep Apnea with his deputies due to the long hours they work. He was aware that we screen patients for sleep apnea and asked if we could help.

Volunteer Missions
Guatemala City, Guatemala
This is a trip to Guatemala City, Guatemala in January 2019. It was sponsored by First Presbyterian Church Greenwood, MS and we partnered with AHAVA Ministry, a local ministry run by Bill Holland. It involved our high school youth group and several adults.
AHAVA Ministry serves to minister to orphan children and street children who have no homes in Guatemala City and the surrounding countryside. These children are fed and clothed in the compound owned by AHAVA Ministry. Our team read books, played games, served food, and shared the love of Jesus Christ. The youth took a day trip to a nonactive volcano with a
beautiful view of the countryside. They ended the trip with a soccer game with the local kids.
A future dental mission trip with AHAVA is currently being planned.
Pillow Academy Mentorship
The Nova Foundation
Dr. Fincher met these people last year in Birmingham, AL. They live in Poland and have created a ministry to the refugees coming out of Ukraine. They have established a Seminary for primarily women who have been displaced by the war. Their intent is to train these women as lay Pastors to restart the churches once the war ends. Most of the male Pastors have been killed in the war.
I have been asked to teach an online course on Discipleship. I will use a book by Dietrich Bonhoeffer, THE COST OF DISCIPLESHIP as my reference. The course will last 1 year, I will have 12 units and we will visit by Zoom and Google Translate. Approximately 45 seminary students from all over Europe. I am tremendous grateful for the Holy Spirit placing this in front of me and for the Novus Foundation for their faith in me.
