Benefits of Implant-supported dentures
If you are looking to replace missing teeth, implant-supported dentures offer a comfortable and durable solution. Tooth loss can affect your appearance and it can also lead to decreasing oral health over time. Since they remain securely attached.
- Strength and Stability: Implant-supported dentures allow patients to eat all types of foods, including apples, ribs, or other foods that they may not have felt comfortable eating with traditional dentures. Furthermore, your implant-supported denture will not slip or fall out of place, so you can eat, speak, and smile with confidence.
- Improved Oral Health: After tooth loss, the jawbone will naturally begin to atrophy, or shrink. Dental implants are the only restorative treatment that can halt this bone loss by returning stimulation to the jaw.
- Durability: Implant-supported dentures do not need to be relined like traditional types, and they can last for more than a decade with proper care.
In addition, these benefits, you can also care for your implant-supported denture by simply maintaining basic brushing and flossing routines.
