We have a lot of people coming to us wanting to improve their smile, improve the color, improve the shape of their teeth, improve the function. If the patient is interested in just some simple space closure between the teeth, that could be done immediately in one appointment. If people are wanting more cosmetic dentistry done, from start to finish it is a process that takes approximately five weeks. Two weeks to have the wax-ups done, three weeks start to finish to have their permanent veneers put in place. Unless we’re doing dental extractions at which usually is not involved in small makeovers, there’s no recovery time. To me, it’s pretty amazing that you can take someone that walks into your office on day one and five weeks later, they’ve got a completely enhanced, nice white, beautiful functioning smile.
